Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic makes winning look easy. The Serb, who first reached the dizzy heights of world number one in July 2011, has the happy knack of making everything he does look natural, balanced and controlled. He is tennis’ equivalent of an irresistible force – just about as safe a bet as you could ever wish to make.

But, before we get carried away, we should remember that Djokovic’s exemplary level of excellence is the product of a serious and altogether systematic programme of dedicated hard work and dietary discipline. And most obviously, his runaway recent success has coincided with his switch to a gluten-free diet… in 2011.

Djokovic’s realisation that he was gluten sensitive was a catalyst to incredible success. This year’s Wimbledon title marked his ninth grand slam title – his eighth since his change of diet.

Imagine if the same gluten intolerance were holding back your performance… what might you achieve? Gluten intolerance tests are widely available and inexpensive, but the easiest test is simply to live gluten free for a couple of days and see how you feel.

If you find you start to feel like a runaway winner you might just be about to start scaling those dizzy heights for yourself.
